This morning, Grammy (Mitch's mom) graciously took our family down to Philadelphia for a day at the Please Touch Museum. The boys had a great time and covered pretty much every single thing there was to do in the building! I haven't been down to the museum since I was little and so it was fun even for us parents to see all the interesting things there were for the kids to do.
Caleb said his favorite part, which was very obvious from watching him, was operating a working mini excavator and by the time we left, he was a little expert scooping up balls and dumping them back out. Noah said his favorite part was the theater/puppet show we went to, but then he went on to tell me that it was scary - so I'm not sure if he meant that's why he liked it? They both also loved the carousel with funny animals as well as many other exhibits that you can see in all the pictures below.
Thanks, Grammy, for a great day out and a ton of fun!
Below is Caleb with the excavator that he loved!
Too bad Pop was super busy at work and couldn't come with us...he would have loved to see Caleb on a motorcycle...although it's not a Harley so I don't know if it counts!
Driving the cars they "built"...
This picture below shows one of Noah's favorite activities...he stood in front of that tube, working that lever like crazy, for awhile just fascinated by all the feathers that shot up from the air he was creating!
Caleb's first job! Both boys loved the little grocery store complete with a working scanner and cash register!
Hot bread coming - yummy!
Noah's checking to see if his banana is done...
Caleb's carousel pick was the cat with a fish it its' mouth...
...and Noah's choice was one of the giant bunnies!
The goal of this water play was to shoot the boats with water...Noah instead decided he would spend his time pulling the boats out of the water and lining them up on the side:)
Riding the monorail - I think daddy needs to find a bigger seat!
Thanks grammy!

That looks like so much fun!!!! I haven't been there since I was little either. Definitely something to put on my list of things to do when Emily gets older!
Definitely looks like alot of fun! Just because you don't have Disney in Philly, doesn't mean you don't have as much fun! (and less expensive...sorry Disney;)
