...has been great! I love it! I love having a baby in the house again!! Both Caleb and Noah were summer babies, and although I enjoyed every minute holding them too, it was hot and harder to hold a baby that was only wearing a onesie. Micah, on the other hand, is always wrapped up in cozy outfits and blankets and is just so warm and cuddly to snuggle with - so fun!
I think we are all adjusting as well as possible to all the changes that have happened in the last month. Caleb and Noah are great helpers and have been doing a really really good job playing well together while I'm busy doing things with Micah. They also seem to take a genuine interest in their little brother and spend quite a good deal of time checking in on him and trying to "play" with him.
I'm feeling really pretty good and fairly back to normal which is a big relief, probably most of all for Mitch - who was so patient with all my requests while I was out of commission! Micah is starting to sleep longer stretches at night so that facilitates my back to semi-normal functioning as well. We also have had SO much help from family and friends bringing meals, watching the older 2, buying groceries, etc - and for that we are so very thankful...it has been a huge blessing!
Here are a bunch of pictures from our last 4 weeks...

Christmas Eve and all dressed up!
Both boys think it is really funny when Micah touches them with his sporadic arm movements...
Making gingerbread (actually graham cracker) houses...
2010 New Year's Eve!
...all cozy and clean!
Precious toes...
Look at this picture - I think he looks completely different after a bath when his hair is wet and fluffy (and maybe even a little redish?!) This is the only time that I think he looks like my side of the family, specifically my brother Sam when he was a baby.
Sleeping like a baby:)
Can you guess which is the only one actually sleeping??

MITCH! I too, am so sad we missed seeing you...it was hard to see any one outside of family:( I hoped at the Christmas Eve service possibly, but it was not to be...I love seeing your 3 boys! I love that God has given you boys to raise...you are doing so well! I am looking forward to what they become:)
p.s. you got your card from your Dad, didn't you?...I should have given it to your mom;)
I love the pictures!! It's funny how you said you're enjoying the winter baby. I had 3 winter boys, then a summer girl, and I loved the summer more! No stuffing wiggly arms and legs into multiple layers before going outside. No warming up the car first or scraping off snow to just go to the doctor. Summer's single onesie outfits were awesome! And the ability to take a cranky baby outside for a stroller ride was priceless! I guess we tend to like the change? I'm glad things are going so well for you all.
these pictures are so so great!! i loveee the one of micah on the ground and caleb and noah kinda over top of him, so cute!!
