Ocean City Sneak Peek!

We are planning to head to Ocean City, NJ in just a few short weeks with Mitch's parents and are very much looking forward to that upcoming trip.  Yesterday, however, we got to have a little preview of the beach as we headed down just for the day to visit some friends from church who very graciously invited us to their home.  We all had a great time and the boys are counting down days to head back!  In just 10 short hours, we managed to pack in as many shore things as we possibly could, while at the same time "relaxing"!  Here is some of what we were up to...
Micah's 1st beach trip!
Digging for crabs...
Running in the waves...
Helping to get the boat ready to sail!
Micah sleeping in the stroller - although that eye popped open for my picture!
Caleb decided to help dig out the boat to get it moving faster...
And they're off!  Waving goodbye!
Watching them sail away...
..and so we went back to our sand-castle making until we saw the boat coming back to the beach.
2/3 boys "asleep" (Micah is in the stroller under the umbrella)
Micah's first time playing in the sand!
Daddy warning Micah to stop eating the sand...
...but I think he missed the memo on that...
...so we moved him back here for a different snack...
That's better!
The boys dug a huge hole, unfortunately it was just a little too far away from the water and the waves were unable to reach it...so eventually they decided to just fill it themselves!
All of my boys!
This is typical Noah-Micah interaction.  I think it's fairly safe to say that Micah will get a very different, and hopefully somehow balanced, approach to life with each of his 2 older brothers!  Today Noah and Micah were playing outside and I looked out to see Noah coloring Micah's nose with sidewalk chalk!  They were both loving it...
Watching the seagulls and waiting for daddy to come back from parking the car...
Icecream!
1 day at the beach = 3 tired boys!

Love that you took a bumbo on the beach! It looks like everyone had a great time. I'm always impressed by families with multiple kids on the beach because I know how much work it is w/ just one!

These beach pictures are so precious, Sarah! And it looks like you had nice, peaceful space there, too.
