Hi! Being that this is the very first post that I am writing, I felt I should play catch up on our family life over the last few years! Mitch and I both graduated from Pennridge High School in 1999 and then continued on to Muhlenberg College in Allentown and graduated from there in 2003. Mitch graduated as a Math major and I jumped around several times, almost transferred for nursing, and ended up as a Business Finance major. Two months after graduating college, we got married on July 26, 2003 and lived in a tiny little cottage on Mitch's godparents' farm in Hatfield PA. We only thought we would be there a month or two until we figured out jobs and such, but although it was mini-sized, that little cottage was so peaceful and cozy we ended up staying for a year! Mitch started working as a Buyer at Accupac Inc in Mainland right after we got married and I just stayed at First Savings Bank in Perkasie where I had worked during college summers and breaks. In August 2004 we moved back up to an apartment in Allentown to be closer to the church we had joined in college - Lehigh Valley Presbyterian Church. I got a job through a temp agency at PPL and worked in their Billing Department and Mitch started his turnpike drive down to Accupac each day. However after 4 months in Allentown, we found out I was pregnant!!!!! ALL of our family including both sides of grandparents are within a 10 mile radius of Perkasie so we decided to start looking for housing "back south" again! After months of looking, we finally settled on a little gray stone row house right in the center of Perkasie within a mile of both our parents. The location is unbeatable!! The house however was a major fixerupper and took lots of time and help from family and friends to get it move - ready before the baby came! The month of August 2005 was total chaos because we were trying to get everything ready for my Sept 3 due date! It got even crazier on Aug 12 when we found out that Caleb was measuring small and they wanted us to come in to the hospital Aug 16 to have him delivered! Caleb Joseph was born weighing 5lb 4oz and 18 1/2 in long, and although small, he was completely healthy. Thankfully we had SO MUCH help (thank you!!) from so many people and the move and Caleb's birth happened the same week extremely smoothly. I actually didn't even see any of the new carpet or baby's room set up until we were home from the hospital. (I did paint Caleb's room the week before he was born so I didn't get out of everything:) ) From there on we had a wonderful first year with Caleb and when he was 14 months old, found out I was pregnant with number 2 and due on Aug 2, 2007! At my last checkup before the baby was due there was some concern that his heartrate was too low so again I was induced early and Noah Joseph was born at 12:02AM on July 27, 2007, missing our anniversary by 2 minutes! Both boys are doing great and we are loving getting to know them each better as they grow into unique little people! They are such a blessing! I know this is a super short summary of our lives but I thought I had to start at least with some kind of history so that the pictures and things I post have a background. I'll try to fill in more details as I go! Enjoy the ride!
