"Look Mom, It Sticks!"

Last night we were playing out back in our yard after dinner and the boys (all 3 of them) had lots of fun finding empty cicada shells in the grass. The two younger ones were especially excited after daddy showed them how to make the cicada stick to their shirts!
I was fine with the shells on their shirts but wasn't really up for one on mine:) Notice how Noah is carrying around a tomato everywhere...

...I have great little helpers in our "garden" this year. As you can tell, we only have a tiny little space but, not knowing how BIG things like zucchini can grow, we planted 3 tomato plants, 8 yellow zucchinis, and 6 pepper plants! Everything is obviously overcrowded, but we've gotten a bunch of squash and the tomatoes are starting to come in now too.

Making sure the tomatoes are really watered, we don't really worry about blight around here;)

Noah's been infatuated with this little baby pepper for the last couple days...

...and this morning he proudly showed me that he had picked it! Oh well...

Looks like you guys are having lots of fun and enjoying these beautiful summer days/nights!
Glad to hear you're getting some things from your little garden!
Hope to see you soon ... maybe a play date!?
