To the Zoo...

Last week, my friend Lisa and her two boys Caden and Aaron took the boys and I to the Philly Zoo for the day!  Actually, I ended up driving all of us down because we now have a van (yah!!), but we were allowed in at no cost thanks to Lisa's zoo pass. 

We left my house soon after 10:00 and didn't get to the zoo until 12:30 - can you believe it?  It was the worst construction traffic I have ever been in on 76 and when we finally got to the main problem area, it was one little truck blocking the right lane...as soon as we passed it we were finally free (for the last 2 miles before getting off at the zoo exit)! 

Despite the traffic delays, once we actually made it in the zoo gates, we had a great time!  Several of the animals, especially the polar bears which I have no pictures of, were really active so that made it even more fun.  Thanks Lisa for the fun day out!

I took the little stroller along in case Noah needed it, but he walked the entire 3 1/2 hours we were at the zoo...couldn't believe it...and didn't even nap on the way home!
