This past Monday we all woke up around 8:15 and decided that since we mistakenly missed the Perkasie/Sellersville parade (much to the boys' dismay), we would head to the Quakertown one that started at 9am. That was kind of a hectic morning to say the least, but we gave the boys blueberries and cereal bars in the car and made it to the festivities with a few minutes to spare.
After the parade, we headed out for some breakfast and then back home to bake (literally, since I had to make 2 pies for later that evening) in the heat until it was time for the picnic at my parents' house.
Then around 4 we headed over for the picnic and had a great time, despite the torrential downpour that occurred right as we walked in the house! Fortunately everything dried off enough to head outside after we ate and play a baseball game headed up by Coach Caleb, who had been working on the teams and details of that specific game for over a week!
Another very fun day and a great way to end the weekend!
We did get to see 1 Perkasie truck so that was exciting:)
My boys!
The band was the highlight for both Caleb and Noah, even though it wasn't the Pennridge band...
Water time!
Cleaning their "house"...they did a great job too!
Getting ready for our Phillies vs. Flyers baseball game...remember I said before that Noah likes his bike helmet?!
Caleb did a great job hitting and running the bases....Noah on the other hand just ran as fast as he could (the wrong way) completely around the bases every time the ball was hit by either team!
Little fielders! (Although like I said above, as soon as the ball was hit, Noah would just take off running the bases!)

thats great! at least Noah's head was safe as he was running the opposite direction of everybody else.
this is just so fun! how funny is noah!! and i LOVE that the boys do little jobs to help you!--I haven't done a good job of this with jj:( and want to do better...basically your boys (and whole family:) rocks! imho:):)
Can't believe it's nearly two weeks since Memorial Day already; AND that I had to go all the way back to the "Peanut butter challenge" to catch up. The zoo pix with Lisa looked a little familiar, though, so I don't know. Anyway, these posts and pix are all so wonderful.
