Over the last year, Mitch has been studying to retake the 1st test to be an actuary and on May 17 he passed with flying colors (he got a 9 out of 10)!! He had been studying so hard most weeknights after the boys were in bed and even spending full Saturdays at Mr. B's coffeehouse working to get ready for the exam. So it was a huge relief and weight off his shoulders when he found out he had passed! I was so proud of him because he had worked so hard and spent so much of his free time in preparation. I was also so thankful, although I kept telling him to just go study after dinner somewhere, that he had made it a huge priority to be home with me and the boys while they were awake to see them and help me and wait until after they were asleep to study. So to celebrate the passing of his test and end of studying (at least for now) I bought us Rascal Flatts/Taylor Swift tickets. The concert was last Saturday at the Toyota Montage Pavilion in Scranton and we had a great time! We sat in the lawn section and although we felt like we were surrounded by reuniting college fraternities and sororities the whole night, we had a blast and it was great just to have a whole night out together! The boys also had a great time at grammy and pop's so it was a nice break for all of us!

Then this past Saturday night we had several of our college friends from Muhlenberg to our place for brownie sundaes and just to catch up a little bit. Ryan and Lindsey met at Muhlenberg and are now married with a baby, and Jen, Kim and Kristen are also Berg alum. John and Adam are the boyfriends of Kim and Jen and are just being introduced to all our craziness:) Some of our friends have moved farther away, but it's great how many are still fairly close and able to get together at every couple months or so. We had a really nice time with everyone and Caleb and Noah got to meet their new little buddy Jonathan, although he's only 2 months and not quite ready to play yet...maybe by next year!

As you would assume, little Jonathan made his rounds and here he is with Kristen holding him
