Yesterday I went up to Allentown to visit my friend Jen from college and came home with this!! Mitch and I just recently inherited my grandparents' freezer, although it is not yet plugged in because we haven't yet found enough things to fill it with. We decided that since we both love ice cream (obsessed might be a better word for me), that that would be a good thing to take up some of the emptiness. While we were in college, we had both interned out in State College for DiscipleMakers and had there been introduced to the Penn State Creamery ice cream - love at first bite:) So, in looking to fill freezer space, we looked online and found that the Creamery does indeed deliver ice cream across the PA in 5 gallon canisters...as long as you're willing to spend a fortune! A few days later, however, we got together with Jen and her boyfriend Adam, who lives in State College, and we were joking about how Adam could be ou

r new Creamery delivery man every time he comes to visit Jen and that maybe it could even turn into a job on the side for him:) We obviously were just joking, but when I went to Jen's apartment yesterday there was a 1/2 gallon of Bittersweet Mint (my favorite!) waiting for us!!!! I was so excited and we all decided last night that it could very well be worth spending $75 to ship it to our house every month! Mitch and I seriously debated eating the whole thing last night, but then decided that might be a little gluttenous...?! So there is still some left, although I can't imagine for very much longer (Mitch is away golfing tonight so I already warned him it may be gone)! Thank you so much Adam - we really appreciated your thoughtfullness!!!!
