This past weekend Mitch and I waved goodbye to Caleb and Noah and packed into my parent's minivan with 4 of our friends to drive 12 hours south to Atlanta, GA to a wedding for one of our college friends. We left Thurs night around 8PM and got there around 10AM Fri morning, just in time to head straight to the mall and pick up Mitch's tux, stop for breakfast/lunch, and relax at the hotel for awhile before the rehearsal dinner. The whole weekend went by really fast since we were constantly doing something, but it was so much fun and was actually somewhat relaxing as well. The wedding was Sat night and it was absolutely beautiful and very Christ centered. We danced our hearts away at the reception and even had a second after party when we got back to the hotel that night. Sunday morning we all met for breakfast, said goodbyes, left the hotel by 8AM and were back home by 10PM. Although we missed the boys so much, it was great to have a weekend to ourselves and enjoy simple things like eating our meals without having to cut everything frantically into a million pieces and we even watched a whole movie straight through with no interruptions!! From what we were told, it sounds like Caleb and Noah also had a nice break from their normal routine and thoroughly soaked up all the attention and sugar from their grandparents (i.e. Caleb was not in bed until 11:30PM Fri night...happy...just wide awake)! By the end of the trip, though, we were both so excited get home and have our family back together again. Thanks so much to both our parents for all the help and congratulations to Ben and Angela!!!!!!

sounds like you guys had a great weekend, and some more fun weekends to come up. Let me know when you are back home and everything settles down, so we can get the boys together again. Dave's been asking how his buddy Caleb is doing?!
You're starting to sound like me Sarah! Going everywhere...I was away from JJ for the first time overnight for a women's retreat with Student Venture in Georgia. Jared actually flew home to PA with him. Wow! Texas! You go MOPS girl! I'm trying to decide if I want to join a group here! Love&hugs!
