Menlo Fall Festival

This past Sunday was the Fall Festival at Menlo Park, so we took the boys up after lunch to check out all the fall festivities! It was a beautiful afternoon and the park was full of local artists, crafts and lots of activities for kids. The big hit for our boys was the petting zoo - which Caleb clearly rememberes in detail going to last year. Noah is walking full time now but he still does the "hands up for balance thing" so it was really cute to see him tottering around all the animals that were right about his level. Caleb loved feeding the goats and the llama and Noah kept going back to the bunny and baby chick cages. Too cute!

Looking at the pig...Noah's off to find the bunnies...

Caleb keeps insisting we need to have a bunny pet like this one...it's huge!
This was Noah's first encounter with one of the non-caged animals...
He's not so sure...
"Let's go find the bunnies again"....
Caleb and grammy feeding the llama
Caleb's first pony ride! He was so excited and even got to ride the horse he liked best!
Waiting in line for the carousel
Don't the boys looked thrilled?!
As soon as the ride started, Noah was even less happy so Mitch sat on the bench behind us with him and I switched over to sit with Caleb...
Mitch looks happy here but I think he was still feeling this ride at bedtime:)

I can't believe Noah...walking all around...JJ is just standing and then "speed crawling" like lightning here and there and everywhere...At least he won't be any harder to keep up with when he's walking! I love all the animals at the Fall Festival...I never went there and the carousel too! Wow! I guess I never knew some stuff not being a Perkasie native...
