Tonight was a daddy-Caleb "date night" and they had planned to head to the mall to check out the toy store, pet store and get ice cream at the food court. Noah and I tagged along for something to do, and lucky Noah got to come check out clothing stores with me instead of going to all the fun stores (although we did make it to the pet store as well). Unfortunately for Caleb, KB Toys is completely out of business and the pet store is down to only birds due to their closing as well. We all met up at the food court, which thankfully was not out of ice cream!, but Caleb was not at all let down and in fact was thrilled that the food court had "movies" - some kind of cartoon advertisement on the TVs:) However, the thrill of the night actually came for Noah because on their journeys, Caleb and daddy found the Disney Store and discovered lots and lots of Eeyores - the exact replicas of Noah's necessary bedtime buddy. So after ice cream, we made a quick trip over to show Noah all the Eeyores and I wish I had a video camera...he was so cute! He just stared and stared at all of them and tried to pick up as many as he could, which was 3 at once, and then walk around the store holding them. Caleb was sweet too because he was so excited to show Noah the Eeyores and kept finding more throughout the store for him to see. This picture has nothing to do with tonight, but last Saturday my best friend from high school and her husband and son Connor came over to hang out with us for a little while which was awesome of course! It's too bad we don't live closer, but as the saying goes..."absence makes the heart grow fonder"!!!
