Cabela's

This morning we met my friend Jen and her 2 kids, Connor and Emmy, for a morning at Cabela's followed by lunch at McDonald's!  When we first arrived at the store, it was great because there was hardly anyone else there so the boys had pretty much "free roam" with all the animals.

I had been to Cabela's pre-kids and didn't remember how "real" some of the displays are...none of the boys seemed to notice too much, although I did get a few questions from Caleb like "why is the moose on the ground next to the bears?" and "why is that deer's tail in the crocodile's mouth?".  It was also a little confusing to explain that these were real animals, but that they weren't moving because they aren't alive anymore.  Definitely a fun morning out, but one of those experiences that is totally different pre-kids vs. post-kids!

Great to see you Jen, Connor & Emmy - the boys are already asking when we can see you next!!!
So many animals to see!
Noah and Connor had some issues with the railings being right at the wrong spot...
The boy had lots of little conversations together - so cute!
Noah's favorite - a giant pokeyface!
This elephant makes our big boys look so little:)
Target practice...
Me and my explorers!

I admit feeling sorry for all those animals when I was there.
