Summertime!

Sorry I've been a little behind on the blog scene these days for any of you following!  Although I have to say that with baby #3 on the way, Caleb starting kindergarten here at home, and me helping to co-coordinate our MOPS group at church this year - I don't see much hope of more vs. less posting!  I still do enjoy blogging though and keeping track of what our family is up to...it also helps me remember to take pictures!...so hopefully I won't totally fall behind!

Summer has been flying right along for us with the busiest time just around the corner...Mitch's birthday, Noah's birthday and our anniversary all in July and then Caleb's birthday, me heading to Orlando for a MOPS weekend, and a family vacation with my parents right around the corner in August.

The boys have been loving this hot weather and spend lots of time outside making mudpies and all kinds of dirt creations (usually averaging at least 2 clothing changes per day)!  When they are not busy being boys outside, they have been spending lots and lots of time building all kinds of forts and buildings and castles for their hermit crabs - Licky and Crabby.   Not so sure the crabs are having as much fun as the boys because every chance they get they try to run away....fortunately so far we've been able to find them when they are missing!

They also love making crafts at the kitchen table and spend quite a lot of time just cutting, pasting and drawing all kinds of things - today Caleb decided to make kites and made so many that he then decided he wanted to start selling them....little entrepreneur on our hands maybe?

Anyway, here are a few pictures of our life recently in not much order or sense....
Fishing!  Unfortunately this time Caleb didn't have any luck, but Noah caught 3 - one of which kept jumping out of our bucket!
Waiting patiently...
Hermit crab creations...I think I was folding laundry next to them judging by the dryer sheets on the ground:)
Putting them in the "zoo"...
Crabby's escaping (again!)...
Caleb also took part in our church's VBS program and had a fun time (he's 2nd from the right on the bottom row)...
Having fun outside!
Digging away...
Hope all of you are enjoying your summer too!!

There's nothing like mud pies - I still remember that as a kid!

Orlando for a MOPS weekend? Is it packed full? Will we even be around?? I won't get my hopes up,but it would be fun if something worked out!
