Family Birthday Party

Caleb has had quite the birthday weekend! Friday was his friend party here at our house which you can see below was a great morning with lots of little boys and lots of fun. Sat was his actual birthday and as soon as he got up we let him open the toy trumpet, Animal Hospital set and Thomas tracks that we had gotten for him. After a giant pancake breakfast, literally the pancakes were huge!, we headed over to grammy and pop's (even though they weren't there) to play outside in their yard for awhile. Later after naps we headed to my Hollebach grandparents' for dinner and to welcome home my dad and brother Dave who had just arrived back from Colorado! We were so happy to see them and especially to have Dave home again since he has been away since the end of May! We missed you Dave! Anyway grandma also had birthday cupcakes for Caleb so he got to blow out more candles. Then Sunday night, which was Mitch's parents 34th anniversary-Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!, was his family party at my parents' house and that also was a very nice time. Caleb loved his little cake and was very excited about all the presents he got! He is definitely a pro at opening gifts by now and has loved having so much attention focused on him. I think he's wondering why we're not having something for his birthday today again! Anyway here are some of the pictures from last night:

My best friend from college, Jen, and her boyfriend Adam were in the area this weekend so I was so excited that they could join us too!!
