Caleb and Noah have had lots of quality time over the last week with their buddies Jake and Luke. Last Tuesday Jake and Luke were at our place for a playdate and all 4 boys had so much fun playing together in our backyard. It was cute to see them all huddled around the sand table together but yet each one playing by himself. The sand table lasted for awhile, but soon they were each off finding more things to do and kept busy with something or other until lunch.
Here are all the boys playing at the sand table
Caleb is grilling and Noah wants to help
Now it's Noah's turn...inspecting the meat to make sure it's good and Luke is ready to help with the hotdogs
Every chef knows you have to try what you make!
Caleb and Jake playing baseball...although by the look on both of their faces and the position of the ball, I'm not sure it's going as planned
Last Thursday I called Laura and she was in the car taking Jake and Luke to Freddy Hill Farm for the morning, so we did a quick turn around and met them there to check out the animals and have an ice cream lunch. Caleb loved seeing all the animals, especially the huge reindeer. Noah seemed pretty excited to see the turkey and was definitely happy to eat ice cream!

This picture cracks me up...the look says it all!
Caleb getting down to the turkey's level to get a closer look
Ice cream time....oddly enough both boys went for "cookie monster blue" for their ice cream choice
Then this Wed my mom and I headed down with the boys to Ocean City, NJ for the day. The Barbadoro's were spending the week with Rob's mom and had some extra space so they invited us down for the day. So we managed to leave here by 7:22AM and got down there soon after 10. We got changed around and headed down to the beach for a few hours. Caleb had a little bit of a rough introduction to the ocean (I was holding him and somehow lost both my flipflops so I was running around in the waves trying to catch them while holding him) or else I think he might have been more comfortable with the water. After he calmed down and knew for sure we were not going anywhere near the water for the rest of the day, he started playing in the sand and ended up spending a good hour filling up a bucket with sand, dumping it out and starting over again. Noah was the epitome of a little beach bum and just crawled around everywhere checking everything out. It took Caleb a little while to not mind the sand on his hands and clothes, meanwhile Noah was busy picking Jake's leftover french fries out of the sand, eating them and searching for more. Halfway through our beach day I had a little incident with my camera falling into the sand so it wasn't working for the rest of the day, therefore my pictures are a bit limited. (Thankfully when we got home Mitch was able to fix it, although I can still hear the sand grinding when I turn it on -as long as it works it's just a little happy reminder of the beach!) After a long morning on the beach we all headed back to their B&B for naps, then to the Chatterbox for dinner, back to the boards to check out Thomas (the train ride that loops around Wonderland Pier) and ended the day with a stop for Kohr Brothers ice cream before heading home. Ocean City is one of my favorite vacation places so was thrilled we were able to get there even if just for a day! Thanks Barbadoros for letting us spend the day with you and also to my mom for going with me - we had a great time!!
Luke and Noah playing with the toys
Me and my big boy:)
We stayed right next to the pier which was great because it was so shady, but it was almost chilly and super windy under there...check out Noah's hair!
Jake coming back from one of his adventures
Maw and Noah having fun in the sand
Up to Mack and Manco's for lunch
Both boys loved it and ate a ton!
Heading back to the beach after lunch
Luke was wiped out...this is such a sweet picture!
Caleb begins his digging...look at all the effort!
Noah decides he will try to help Caleb
Noah's had enough digging...on to the next thing!
