Last Thurs, Nov 13, my friend Laura had her first baby girl - Hannah Daisy! Laura is one of my really good friends from church and she is the one that has Jake and Luke, the two boys that are often at our house for playdate switches (actually Luke was at our place while Hannah was being born so that was fun). So after having 2 boys, which obviously is a wonderful thing, she now has the privilege to switch over from everything blue and boyish to some pink, pretty soft girl things! One of our other friends from church, Julia, had the brilliant idea to go to Laura's house and decorate the baby's area as a surprise for her when she came home from the hospital. Julia is incredibly creative, which is not strongest area by far, and she had some great ideas to make Hannah's area special and beautiful...she even brought in furniture that she had decorated herself! We had a great time and hopefully it will be a fun surprise for Laura when she gets home later today (and hopefully we didn't misplace too much of their other stuff!). I don't have any pictures of little Hannah but we went to visit them in the hospital and she is a perfectly beautiful little girl! Congratulations Rob and Laura!
