Yesterday, thanks SO much to my grandma and my friend Laura who watched the boys, I was able to make a quick day trip out to visit my friend Jen and her beautiful new baby Emily (check post below if you haven't heard her crazy birth story!). It was so weird for me to hold a newborn baby again, because even though I've had 2 of my own, somehow those days seem long gone! I completely understand why some people have a fear of holding babies because they really are very awkward to hold and I was even a little nervous of dropping her! Thankfully that didn't happen (I think Emily has already had enough trama to last her entire lifetime), and Jen and I had a very nice afternoon visiting and "awwing" over her little cutie pie!

Thanks for the delivery tribute :) I really enjoyed reading my story in someone else's words. You did a great job capturing what happened even though you weren't there. I love being your friend that always has those weird things happen! I like to keep things interesting for all of us!
