Ready for Naps!

This past Saturday was quite the action packed day for the boys! First we went to an indoor (because of tornadoey winds...remember?!) Easter egg hunt and lunch hosted by Mitch's mom's church. We did this same hunt 2 years ago when Caleb was 1 1/2, and he at that time had some minor troubles because his basket was too small and the eggs kept falling out, producing a very frustrated toddler. This year, Caleb (now 3 1/2) informed us prior to the "hunt" that he would get and keep 16 eggs and he far exceeded that...I didn't actually count but I'm sure it was upper 40's or 50's. Noah, who is our current 1 1/2 year old, did great for the first minute or two, actually picking a few eggs up and putting them in his basket, however he was severly detoured when he found a Rolo on the ground and spent the next 10 min trying to get it open. After Caleb dumped out his full basket of eggs for the 2nd time, he came to Noah's aide (who was still trying to open his chocolate) and filled up his basket for him. Just what brothers are for right?
Patiently waiting (above)....and (below) Noah off to a good start!
But, oh wait, what is this mom?

Here's Caleb diligently picking up eggs and Noah's also begun his hard work...

....Caleb still gathering and Noah still opening...

....Caleb now gathering for Noah and Noah STILL trying to get his candy open!
Our cheerleaders - Mitch's parents, brother and grandmother who were all watching the excitement!

After the egg hunt, I took the boys to a birthday party at KidzRule, which was an awesome indoor kid playroom full of all kinds of bouncy things that even the parents can go in! We all had a blast and were totally wiped out by 3pm (end of party) to finally head home for naps!!!

Caleb is coming out of a slide (above), and Noah is having issues with the bracelet he had to wear (below).

Noah made himself a "slide" out of squishy blocks...

...and they also made a big balance beam to crawl on...

...but these giant bouncy things were the hit for all 3 of us!! It was so funny to watch Noah because he can't quite jump yet (although he tries really hard), but he would just run as fast as he could across the middle while all the other kids were jumping and eventually he would fall down like everyone else!

The private party room even had this giant slide that we went down at least a dozen times:)

Then, after naps, we even got to go visit our friends, Nate and Lori, and their brand new baby - Eva Grace! We left Noah at my grandparents but brought Caleb along to meet Eva, although he was much more interested in keeping tabs on their cat Lala (which we're hoping lasts till he's at least 18). Eva is so beautiful and tiny - congratulations Nate and Lori!!

Is that Nate and Lori (Laurie? she spells it, I think) Wambold's girl? They already have a girl, right...

Love the pics! JJ's first Easter egg hunt is this Saturday...I wonder how he'll do...I think he will want to open all of the eggs right away!

Also, we were at a birthday party at a place called Sliderz that is much like Kidzrule...we were late and so missed the BIG SLIDE...bummer, but it was still so fun!
