Dr. Caleb

If you know our boys well at all, you have probably noticed that their personalities are very unique in many ways. Caleb tends to be sweet, sensitive and extremely aware of others' feelings, needs and emotions - so when he woke up yesterday and heard that Noah was sick, he immediately took action to help care for him. He made 2 beds for him, one upstairs and one downstairs, even giving Noah his precious blanket to help him feel better. And then while Caleb and I were eating breakfast and Noah was laying on the sofa bed Caleb made for him (he laid there the whole time...what a good little patient!), he kept calling out to Noah to make sure he was okay and to see if he needed anything.
It's been really fun for us to have 2 boys that are so different in so many ways but that love each other and care for each other so deeply. Just recently it seems they have really started to have more of a brotherly bond and I love it watching it develop! I think all of our question/answer sessions with them of "Caleb - who is your best friend? Noah" and "Noah - who is your best friend? Caleb" are starting to pay off:)

Bed #2 up in Noah's room with lots of special "guys"...

If only all doctors had patients that listened so well!

Aw, Caleb is so sweet! It's so wonderful that they love each other so much. So, what does Noah have? We've all had colds for the past 2 weeks or so. Poor Emmy is even congested, but I think we're getting better now.

Caleb is such a sweet little guy and what a great big brother!! Hope that Noah is feeling better. And as soon as this rain stops we will have to plan a zoo trip!

This is tuly so sweet...I can't wait to see them interact in person.

I don't know if you can make the pool party my friend Liz is having, if not, yeah, coming over to the Alleman's could be best as we are flying and won't have a car...Wed-Fri the 8-10th are most free so far. We could still get together with Jess too as I am definitely going to see her, but maybe we will visit our friend from college who just lost her husband (so, so sad), but that may be a long shot! I'll keep you posted!
