As I'm sure is true for most of you, December is a month full of all kinds of fun activities and traditions that just have to be squeezed in no matter how busy the rest of the day is! I tend to be more of a "outgoing, wanting to do as many things as possible with as many people as possible, can't miss out if someone else is doing it" person, so I absolutely love this time of year and thrive on all the fun! It seems that the boys are following at least somewhat in my footsteps because almost every morning, especially recently, they have been waking up asking "what are we doing today mommy?"! Love it! Here are a LOT of pictures from our past week...

Decorating our tree!

It snowed here last weekend, but by the time the boys got out to play on Monday morning it was pretty much all melted - fortunately they didn't seem to mind and still had fun!

Here is Noah bringing down his dump truck to help with the snow piles.

Loading it up!

After the snow cleanup, they decided to work on making a road under the sandbox...

Both Caleb and Noah are loving all the Christmas books we have and here is Caleb "reading" to Noah.

Below is a picture of some snowmen that Caleb and his friend Jake made in their preschool playdate at our house...

...and here are Jake and Caleb decorating cookies - can you tell Caleb likes green sprinkles?

Saturday morning was a big day for the boys that they have been looking forward to since last year...Santa flew in to Pop's work (Mitch's dad) on a helicoptor and then handed out presents!

Noah on Santa's lap...both boys are thrilled with the Cars presents they got from Santa (Mitch's parents give gifts ahead of time that Santa can hand out, so it's great because the kids are given gifts they really love)!

While the boys were having fun at the helicoptor siting, I was galavanting around the Hershey Outlets for the 3rd Christmas in a row with my friend Jen from high school (to my right), Jen's friend from college named Cindi (to the far left), and my friend Jen from college (to my left). It's so fun that we have a little tradition started with the four of us and below we are sitting on "our chair" in Starbucks that we have ended up sitting on half way through our shopping excursions the last couple years (there were other chairs near us that some of us sat on...we didn't sit and talk like this the whole time!).

Then today we had our first Christmas gathering with my mom's side of the family, although unfortunately most of my pictures from the day didn't turn out very well. Below is me with Dave, Anna and Sam - the best brothers and sister anyone could ask for:)

Noah had fun giving out food to everyone...

2 of my favorite people in the world!

Less than 2 weeks to Christmas...can't wait!
