Christmas Party!

This past Thursday, my two friends Lisa and Jenny came over with their boys for a little book exchange and cookie decorating Christmas party!  Lisa, Jenny and I all grew up going to the same high school and also worked together for several years at Landis and have gotten together several times with all our boys for playdates and field trips.  It's so fun to get together with both of them because all our boys are about the same age, excluding Noah - but he doesn't seem to mind, and really get along great.

Caleb and Noah were so excited to have their friends over for a party and Caleb actually spent a good 45 minutes or so on Wednesday afternoon organizing all the magnets and pictures on our fridge so it would look just right for his buddies.  Caleb also wanted to give each of his friends a little present to take home, so he picked out one of his magazines for each of them and helped me with the wrapping.  He is going to make some lucky girl a very happy woman one day (in the very far future) :)

All the boys worked really hard, for about 5 minutes, on their cookies!  In the picture above, Noah is adding a few more sprinkles since he obviously doesn't have enough quite yet, and below Aaron and Caden are making theirs look just right!

Dave and Jenny making some great looking cookies...

Not sure how long Noah was doing this before I caught him in the act!

All the boys ready for their book exchange...

...and checking out their treasures:)  Noah wasn't quite ready for the actual "exchange" part and refused to give up the book he was holding - fortunately we don't have the book he had wrapped to give away and so he was thrilled when he opened it!
