So these past 2 weeks, as I'm sure it was for most of you, was a flurry of Christmas celebration, opening gifts, eating as much as we could and getting up early the next morning to do it all over again! We had a fantastic vacation and are thankful that so many of our family and friends live in the area, making it easy for us to do pretty much anything and everything that comes up during the holidays!!! I hope everyone else had just as Merry of a Christmas as we did and Happy 2009! Here are just a few pictures from our holiday frenzy:
Noah had fun with his 2nd cousin Rachel...here he is wondering what in the world is making all that noise (her harmonica).
Caleb, Noah and Rachel spent the majority of the afternoon trying to find someone willing to push them around on this food cart (which wasn't too hard to find!).
The boys opening presents with Mitch's parents
And Pop had his electric train set up so of course the boys spent a good deal of time watching that (and Mitch and his dad spent a good deal of time putting the trains back on the track).
Noah trying out his spoon skills for the first time

NEW YEAR'S EVE 2008
NEW YEAR'S EVE 2008
Then this past week we rang in 2009 with the Fox and Landis families, which has become a fun little tradition for us the last couple years. We had a full 3 course dinner spread throughout the entire night, played games and organized our children all night long (the last part pertains mostly just to us). Below Noah found one of Caden & Aaron's hermit crabs and was trying to make it come out of the shell again...fortunately for both it and Noah it remained safe inside.
Noah and the 2 Landis boys were in bed by 8:30ish but here is our little trooper...Caleb stayed up the entire night until we pulled onto our street at 1AM! He had a great time watching Veggie Tales (2x), playing with farm animals, and eating lots of pizza and fondue!

Happy New Year!!! Since senior year of high school when we started dating, this is our 10th New Year's Eve together!

Looks like you had a great Christmas!! The boys look like they got some great new toys!! We are looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
I just caught up on a couple weeks here and learned some things, too! Very nice blogging. Also, I like the picture of the boys and us at Grandma's house on your "first of the festivities" page. Would you send it to me, please? Gracias!
