Calebisms

Caleb is now 3 1/2 and has been cracking us up with some of the things he tells us these days, for example:

~Telling me this as he rides around on a toy dump truck, holding our old cell phone to his ear..."the makers of The Office called and there's no show tonight" (even funnier because the day he told me this actually was a Thursday, the night The Office is on...have NO idea why he was talking about the show or how he even knew anything about it!)

~Telling this to my mom at lunch time when she said that Noah was "something else" because he wouldn't eat his food...Caleb - "Noah's a girl". My mom - "why?". Caleb - "Because he's something else" (I asked him this later to see what he would say and this time he said Noah was a cup).

~Telling this to me after I told him I could play with him for a little bit and me asking him what he wanted to play..."it doesn't matter to you".

~Telling this to my brother Sam who had just been golfing and was telling us about his adventures on the course - "the last time I went golfing, I hit it in the water and a whale came and a dolphin and then a seagull ate the ball!". Apparently Caleb's into beach golfing on the side:)

It's amazing what they come up with. I wonder sometimes were Megan comes up with somethings to. I guess I need to watch what I say in front of her now.

sooo cute! I can't believe he's going on 4! Even though so much of the growing up can make me sad, it's fun to hear things like this and think of how fun it will be to hear what they say!

This age is the best! There's not much more entertaining than listening to a 3 year old talk. I especially love when they use "grown-up" phrases that sound so funny coming from a little one. Thanks for sharing these...it gave me a good laugh :)

those are great! I know some adults who are just as random.

I checked out your friend's blog and it's called foam board! Her project looked really good. Oh, and I love the Calebisms. I am still so excited that Caleb used the word "awesome" to describe Hannah's cake from her baptism.
