...is as full of people and life as it is at 1 in the afternoon, or at least it was last night when I went down to hang out with my brothers (Sam and Dave) for a night on the town to celebrate Dave graduating from college! Dave and I drove down late in the afternoon yesterday and he gave me a full tour of the college and all it's surrounding landscape (which is beautiful!), and then Sam met us for dinner after he managed to inch his way through DC traffic at 5 on I-95. We went to Landscape (a sports bar type place) for dinner and then met up with a couple of Dave's friends for the rest of the night. We found a great place that had outside seating so we spent a good couple hours there, made another stop to play a couple games of pool and even finished the night West Chester style by ordering pizza at "Saucey" around midnight, which actually was early according to everyone around me. I was pretty impressed with myself that I made it through the night (even after having 2 babies I don't think I've gotten this little sleep since my college days), although to be honest I think I was the one that initiated the conversation about ending all our adventures. The only downside was that Mitch and Anna (my sister) couldn't make it, but Sam, Dave and I had a blast and I'm so glad at least 3 of us were able to hang out! Congrats and thanks to Dave for graduating so we could celebrate!!!
This is Gay Street (sorry for the dark picture!) where we were hanging out...the whole street is lined with stores and restaurants and it felt kind of like we were walking up and down a boardwalk...
We went out the back entrance of one of the places were were in and we had to go through this super narrow space between buildings to get back out to Gay Street...Sam wasn't sure if he would make it:)
Here is Saucey...the place we stopped for pizza...
I haven't been interested in a sign like this since Muhlenberg days...
Saucey's has all different interesting kinds of pizza toppings...for example, Dave got "chicken bacon ranch", Sam got "bbq chicken", and I was convinced by one of Dave's friends to get the "honey mustard chicken"...which I at first made fun of, but after ordering and tasting it...gotta tell you, it was really good (probably partly because it was so late I could have been convinced anything was good).
Congrats again Dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the land of alumni:)

Sounds like a lot of fun...but I'm pretty sure for me, around 11:30 or so it would stop being fun :).
