This past Saturday Mitch graciously watched the boys so I could leave at noon to head out with some friends to Hershey, PA for a day of shopping and eating. I picked up my best friend from college, Jen, in Allentown and then we headed to the land of chocolate to meet up with my best friend from high school, also Jen, and her roommate from college, Cindy. We had a great time and I found some exciting deals and actually had time to sort through racks and compare prices instead of just grabbing the first thing I could find that looked like a decent price! We had planned to head over to Chocolate World, but didn't get a chance to since we spent too much time shopping and eating...which ended up being just as fun and I think all of us have been to Chocolate World at least a dozen times and I have no doubt that we will end up there sometime in the future since it's such a great meeting spot:)
Later in the evening Caleb called me to tell me that he and daddy and Noah had just been to see "the 'tivity scene and we saw a donkey and doves and so many cows in the basement, like one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine....like that many!". Apparently Mitch had decided to take them over to the Penn View Milk Farm's live nativity that night, and from the frantic description and high pitched voice I could tell that Caleb at least had had a great time! (They did actually have all the cows in the basement of the barn that the kids could go down to see...just in case you wondered, like I did, what in the world Caleb was talking about.)
I feel like I have had a lot of free time out recently which has been really so nice, especially with all the busyness of holidays swirling around.....so thank you again to my sweet husband for all the girl time I've been getting!
