Nosey is 2!!!!!!!!

Poor Noah...we were slightly concerned when we named him that he would be confused with his name and the word "no" - however considering that the names we somehow affectionately started calling him have been "Toah", "Toey" and more recently "Nosey", I guess we should have been a little more concerned about strange nicknames he would have to deal with!

That being said, our little "Nosey" is 2 today!!!!! He is such a blessing in our family and, with his very passionate, loud and extreme personality, has really brought a lot of enthusiasm and joy to our lives! Noah can make all of us laugh just by being himself and he loves to have fun - which is very contagious to the rest of us! We had a family party for him last night and today we are trying to make the day a little extra special for him by a trip to McDonald's for lunch and to the ice cream place of his choice (Freddy Hill) after dinner.

Caleb has really been so gracious and thoughtful to Noah too by "giving" him lots of presents (toys from his room that he is willing to sacrifice including a blue chair, a wooden kangaroo, a race car and some books) and at least 4 hand-made cards so far:) And last night before bed when I asked Caleb what he wanted to thank God for, he immediately said "for Noah's birthday party...I really like Noah" - I think Noah has a great brother don't you?!

Noah so wanted to open his presents first, especially the one with the squishy toys on it, but first we had to do cake...

...which he was thrilled to find Mater and Lightening McQueen on when Daddy brought the cake over (he didn't see me make the it). Caleb also loved the cake as you can tell below...

Here Noah is making sure Lightening McQueen doesn't go hungry...

...and finally - present time!

Mitch, my brother Sam, Mimi (Mitch's grandmother), Pop (Mitch's dad) and Uncle Kyle (Mitch's brother) watching the action from the dining room.

Uncle Kyle got Noah a new Elmo which he, of course, had to give a snack to right away!

These are Noah's 3 favorite buddies...Elmo, Tooey (the rat from Ratatouille) and his #1 - Eeyore! He carries all 3 of them around before bed...so cute:)

Noah had lots of attention from lots of loving family!

Mitch's mom and my mom playing with the boys on Noah's new road carpet and blocks!

Birthday hug!

The cake looks awesome! Since our movie night, Connor has been slightly obsessed with the Cars movie. Now I wish we never would have watched it because he wants to watch it all of the time! But it is so cute!
And it looks like you all had a great time at Noah's party! I'm bummed that we didn't get to see you this past weekend, but hopefully I'll get to see you soon!!!!
