Daddy's Birthday!!!

The boys and I are very excited because today is Mitch's 27th birthday!! I kind of think that Caleb thinks daddy's birthday is never-ending because we've done something for him each of the last 4 days. The birthday celebration started out on Sunday night when I took Mitch to an Allentown Iron Pigs baseball game. The Iron Pigs are the new triple A minor league Phillies team and it's where Brett Meyers just was transferred to last week. Not only did we just go to the game, but we went in style! I found Dugout Suite tickets on EBay that included a 2 hour buffet (although we think it started an hour before we got there!) and a lounge area with couches to sit on if you wanted to. We were sitting 3 rows behind the catcher and we had a blast! The stadium is really nice and has a field section that you can take kids to (we saw tons of little kids and strollers and they even have a nice playground for kids inside the ballpark) so maybe sometime soon we'll venture there with the boys. So that was Sunday night...then Monday we had daddy's steak birthday dinner here complete with a beautifully decorated cake by Caleb. Then Tuesday night after Mitch's softball game, we stopped by the Sundae School (an icecream shop near us) to buy some chocolate covered bananas that he had seen and wanted a couple nights before when we were there to get icecream...and we had those after Mitch got home from his game. So now it's actually finally his birthday and we have nothing left to give him except another round of the birthday chorus and a card! We are, however, going to his parent's house tonight for dinner so that will be a fun time I'm sure! It's been fun celebrating daddy's birthday and showing him what a great dad and husband he is to our family! I could never imagine a more loving, caring and thougtful partner and the boys are just beginning to understand how blessed they are to have such a great dad! We love you so much!!!! Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Ready to watch some baseball!
This was definitely the closest I had ever sat!
View from the outfield...our seats were under that 69 News sign
A peek back into the suite where the food and couches were
The weather stayed great for us (they were calling for storms) and the Iron Pigs even won!
Mitch's chocolate covered bananas!! They were frozen and Noah especially loved them!!
