A Rainy Monday & 2 Sick Boys

This morning I woke up to the sound of rain falling, Caleb coughing, and Noah crying! Monday has begun!! Both boys were pretty much normal last night, except that Caleb didn't seem to eat nearly as much as he usually does and Noah seemed a little bit more edgy, but we didn't think anything of it. During the night, however, Caleb was up quite a bit coughing and Noah woke up crying at least once too. So I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised when they got up today that something might be off. Caleb doesn't have a fever but keeps coughing a lot, and Noah isn't coughing but is running a low grade fever, which fortunately Tylenol is keeping down. They are both in fairly decent moods and it's actually kind of nice when a sick day coincides with a rainy day because then it doesn't feel like we have any reason to be going anywhere anyway! They are both in their naps now and I've already heard Noah let out a little cry and Caleb is coughing every few minutes and actually just called me up a few minutes ago to tell me that he was "all done" sleeping when in fact I know he hasn't slept at all yet, so the afternoon might get a little interesting! I think they had a pretty good morning despite the sickness though because they had few "special treats" to help them (and me) through the morning. Usually Caleb's blanket and Noah's Eeyore are only allowed upstairs, but they came down with us today. And Caleb was thrilled to hear that after his quiet playtime and Noah's nap we could watch not only one, but two, movies today (I normally try to keep movie watching to right before dinner)! So I'm obviously praying they get better soon but I can almost say we had "fun" this morning cuddled up on the couch together, one boy on each side of me....so cute:)
Caleb likes to set his farm up during his quiet playtime and he was just adding some finishing touches before we went downstairs
Amazing what a TV can do to your children!
Mitch always thinks it's so funny how angry the trains can look...scary isn't it!?
